In 2017, Deroma Productions was engaged in a huge undertaking.
In one of Malaysia’s highest profile stagings, the SEA Games was an Olympics-level sized event, consisting of thousands of performers, musicians, and acts, broadcasted live to the entire world.
It was our extreme honour to have worked with then sports minister, YB Khairy Jamaluddin to curate, direct, produce and orchestrate all the music for the 3-hour opening ceremony.
Drone Shows
Working hand-in-hand with 33.3 Studio, Deroma Productions composed, produced and designed unique sounds in order to produce the most dazzling drone shows that would illuminate the night skies of Kuala Lumpur. One of such has even awarded 33.3 Studio a place in the Malaysian Book of Records for the most drones used in a light show.

Symphony
Suria KLCC – the number 1 hang out spot for shopping tourists with a beautiful esplanade area that boasts daily Lake Symphony shows. Each year, Deroma Productions partners with Suria KLCC to bring to you exhilarating fountain shows accompanied by music specially composed and arranged by us, as we celebrate the arrival of a brand new year and reminisce about the country’s founding days.
Anugerah
Juara Lagu
AJL has been long known among the local scene for being the most anticipated Malay music award show held annually within the country. For the 38th AJL in 2024, Deroma Productions was invited by established Malaysian music director, Genervie Kam to collaborate on the music arrangement for the opening ceremony. While the tradition of the award show is to introduce new arrangements into the performed setlist, our arrangement for the opening medley has brought the standards of the show to a new level with our skill in bridging the sounds of both orchestral textures and fan-favourite rock elements.
